308 gameboard question

I just ordered a 308 gameboard along with the custom team banner from footballfigures, is the custom banner going to go around the gameboard on the wooded area surrounding the field?, what exactly is the custom banner. Also, I was just wondering what "The Net" is? is it just the net behind the field goal posts?

The banners do go around the wood, I dont know about the net.
