Default haiti repro figures (why are they so loved)

Coaches,

Just want to get your thoughts on why the haiti repro figures are so loved in this sport. Im asking this question after reading decal master's post in regard to these fig's. Also at this past winterfest coaches raved about them also, what's makes this particular set of fig's stand out from the rest.

performance wise, coaches said they are the most consistant fig's to put on a board, is it the size of the fig's that everyone loves ? 67 Big men, buzzball fig's, ff.com figs, itz fig's, what is so special that makes coaches gravitate towards the haiti's ? You know i love reg's figures so im curious !
I must be honest, in the looks department the are nothing to sing and dance about so it has to be something else (what gives). their are coaches around the country who only play with haiti's !!!!!!!!!!!! Is it other figures are alot more appealing to the eye but the haiti's perform better ?

If you dont mind, please give a detailed explanation why you like the haiti's and have they helped you in a game situation !

Default re

My explanation is very simple: I find them to be the best looking figure by far , to either use stock or customize. I think it is the proportions of the figure , shoulders are wide , legslook like they have hit the weights . They just have a football build.

I agree with Jeff as usual. I like the plastic; the way the figures respond to the paint and clear coating.

I also like the scale of the figures. I like the 67s too but they are too tall and get in the way of my TTC passing. A couple of centimeters makes a big difference.

I also like the fact that the base platforms are pre-painted. This saves time on completing the project. So far, I have only used Buzzball and Haiti figures in my collection. I like the consistant performance of each figure and use them as follows:

FAB 5 blocker : O-line and D-tackle
FAB 5 RB : RB, FS, SS, and CB
FAB 5 WR : WR, CB
FAB 5 DB : LB
BUZZ RB : RB, TE
BUZZ WR 1 and 2 : WR
BUZZ MR. E : TE, WR, OLB, and DE
BUZZ QB : QB

The rest of the figures (fab 5 (T), buzz lineman, LT lockdown) I simply discard or trade off.

Broadway...I also got your message and will call you tonight. Can you PM me your number just in case?

Default Repros and Buzzball

When it comes to painting, repros and buzzball is the only way to go. These are the only figures I will have on my compitive teams. If you dont have repros you have to try them. Great to paint!!

Well, let me also give props to the Miggle Pro Line quarterbacks (I like those) and to those amazing Footballfigures.com offensive lineman. I really like those as well.

When it comes Seawall Brawl time..

I'll be fielding a team of Buzzball, FF.com, Miggle Big Men, and Miggle Pro-Lines. A bit of everything.

I've heard nothing but good things about the Haiti Repros.. Very well balanced and a good looking figure.

Default TallyWackers!

Hati figures,
They look good in a glass display case! If you want to run some serious figures, Go FootBall.com figures and Bzzball! That's what's happing! If you really want to get some bumping started, put some weights under D'EM JOINTS! Hati repros are just to little. However, they do look good when painted and decaled nicely!
This is just my opion and not a forum for uncensored shananagans! Unless, you care to joust with me??? Surely you jest?

Default I have always been partial

to Haiti figures original or repro. I have always liked the look of the original figures so when I collected that was all that I collected. I learned how to paint on them back in the 80's and liked the thickness as well. I was happy when the repros came along and I enjoy painting them even more. The white is awesome and saves time on a ton of jobs.

Default Haiti Repro

Broadway-Dre'

I like the haiti repro figure the best. They are the most balanced of all the figures. They take paint very well and they're the best figure to be reconfigured. When they are done right by a customizer and painted, they are in a class all by themselves. Just look a some of the pictures customizers put up on this chatboard; many of them are done with haiti repros!
