Gluing fingers to the figure and to your other fingers

How do I stop it. Whenever I glue a figure the glue somehow gets on my fingers so then it will super glue my fingers together (and make me have to glue again) or it will super glue my fingers to the figure which I have to pull off the figure (making me have to glue the figure again .)
How do I prevent this, it happens with gel glue to.

Your using too much glue then. You might want to try using a toothpick to apply a small amount of glue to the surface you are gluing.

Try the brush-on glue. Krazy Glue makes a variety that goes on purple but dries clear so you can see how much you've applied and where. You definitely want to use less.

AHH, it sounds like the same idea that is out there for ceiling paint. goes on purple so you can see where you have painted, dries flat white.

I got it at Michael's Craft Store. Check the craft sections of stores as well. It must be new, never saw it before. Decided to try it out, works great!

Obviously try the types of glue mentioned, use less, as was also mentioned, but when you apply the glue, do not hold the two parts together at the seam you just glued, the tendency is to hold the two glued pieces together, but do not hold the with your fingers at the seam you just applied glue to.

If any extra squeezes out your fingers are free and clear.
