Default Need help

Hey guys, i need something. I need pictures from start to finish of a figure being painted, decalled, etc. Like this . . .

1- pic of all white figure,
2- pic of painted figure, no decals, etc,
3- pic after decals,
4- pic after facemask applied,
5- pic after chinstrap

Basically, a step-by-step pictorial of "suiting up" a player. It would be great if each step was taken from same angle every time, but not necessary. If anyone could help, I'd appreciate it.

Default Labor

TomKat,

It appears to me that you are working to create a video production. That’s cool if you are doing that. What you are asking for regarding pictures of a figure being put together from the same angle is something that you should do yourself. Although it is simple to do, it is labor intensive.

Default I read your post...

and waited on someone to respond. I did not know if you wanted a FF.Net/FF.COM figure but if so, I am re-creating Len Dawson from a Lawrence Taylor pose.

I will not show how I re-configure the player because that would be a lot of pics and something like that is shown in my Quarterback DVD. However, I will show you the simple steps in taking a player from start to finish.

Shown below is the type of pose I have created.

I just need a pic from each step of "finishing" a player. Doesn't matter what kind of figure. Shouldn't be any more labor intensive than taking a pic after each step.

Default Yes, It Is Labor

As I said before, it’s not hard to do. What makes it labor intensive is that there will be periods when the painter will have to wait for parts of the figure to dry before moving to the next step. Use the helmet for an example. Before any decals can be applied to the helmet, the base color of the helmet must dry first. This is especially true for a team such as the Chiefs.

The process can be a lot easier if you do it with a team that wears white on white such as the Redskins. Time will be saved if the natural white plastic of the figure is used instead of painting the figure all white. The only part that will have to dry before moving on to the next step would be the helmet.

I don’t know what you know about shooting a video. To be honest, I don’t know if you are shooting a video at all. I also don’t know how meticulous you are. To get just a couple of minutes of video require a lot of shots. The entire process is labor intensive. One thing can’t get done until the first thing is done. The processes do not run in parallel. Until the figures are painted and bases tweaked, the camera is on standby. Again waiting! That applies even if you have help.

I know alot about making videos. All I'm asking is, while someone is doing up a figure/team, take pics after each step. That simple. The only extra labor is pushing a button on a camera.
