Default Airfare to the Miggle Convention

Hey coaches,

Please see some more great deals by Southwest below. Although Midway is not as close as O'hare, you pay no bag fees with Southwest

Unfortunately, due to the uncertainty of the current state of our economy, etc..., I have decided not to make this year's event. I have not missed a Miggle Convention since 2004.

Anyway, you guys have fun and let us know what's happening as it occurs, if possible.

Please see attachment for more $92 deals...

I'm really curious how many are coming this year. Has anybody heard anything in regards to numbers? I am going but will not be competing as I will be busy running the skills competitions.

Default Should be a Decent Showing

I think you will probably see the normal die-hard travelers. Not as many, but near the usual amount.

However, I think the most important part of this is that all the local coaches show. Local coaches and coaches from the surrounding areas should make a serious attempt to show-up.

Please, Please, Please. Show-up and do your thang. I don't really think we can afford a weak showing this year dispite, the obstacles many of us are facing in our personal lives. So, if you live in Illinois or nearby, please mak a serious effort to show-up and participate.

And remember to update all of us that could not make it on a regular.

Default I think it will turn out well!

We need to take advantage of room sharing. You get a room with double beds, the couch is a pullout bed. That's 3 coaches. That's the important thing. That will cut the cost 3-ways.
If things are a little tight sharing a room is a great option. Heck, nobody sleeps much during the weekend anyways! So it's not like you will looking at each other all day and night!

The other thing was weather, I know a lot of coaches from the Md area want to drive, but think the roads & weather will be bad. I think it will be fine, but those Md drivers are yellar. They get an inch or two of snow & it's shut down the schools! In Philly it has to go over 4inches of snow for anything to change!

That room sharing thing is right on the money.

As I said, most of the die-hards will be there.

I would like to see a heavy turn-out from the locals and surrounding areas.

As Mike or Matt has stated, it is very important we we show our support now more than ever.
