Default BASE TWEAKING

How many times during the course of a season will you coaches change players bases? Are you constantly tweaking to find that better base for your squad?

Then once you make the playoffs.....do you again start fiddling with your team?

Just curious?

Default Tweak and Test

I am always tweaking and testing. I move bases around from team to team in an effort to find the right combination. Believe it or not, bases that run well are not always compatible with other bases that run well. I follow the base by documenting it and filming it during work outs.

Default during the off-season and up to the half way point....

during the off-season and up to the half way point....I will make sutle changes to my team.

i might move a player from ofefense to defense or change a skill position because it is too slow or can't get open or the like.....

but once I find the "spare parts" then I know I have subs to go to when the Star is being hindered by good defense.

Default Base Tweaking

I review my solitaire stats in the offseason and adjust bases on individual figures based on performance from the previous season. Then I see how they do for the next season.

My tournament team I adjust after each tournament.

Default I'll take a stab at this one

My teams are usually tweaked a month or two prior to the season. I run them so much (exhibition games against various coaches), They are in mid-season form by the first game of the season.

After that, it depends on the team. I will re-tweak or tweak new bases for as many as 1 to 5 bases by the middle of the season.

Also, depending on the performance of my team, I may or may not make further changes until the play-offs.

Usually, I will make a change to 1 to 3 or 4 bases depending on my oppenant and any changes to the rule-set I notice along the way. Or better yet, rules I learn along the way.

So, the least among of bases I've changed during a season is one to two. The most I've probably changed is 10. It all depends, my man. It all depends

This is the feedback i am talking about thanks so far guys.......The reason I am asking this question is because I usually will change bases on non-performers...most of the time on the defensive side of the ball.

Any others that would like to share their insight or practices.......Not looking for secrets just general info......sometimes i think that some coaches change out bases from week to week and so often and lose sight of their players abilities.....
