Default PRIME TIME--awesome!

He changed defense and impacted offenses much like LT did.Neon Deon could shut the whole side of a field down and enable DC's to really attack one side.Great job at capturing him Reg-STT Love seeing them old seminoles!

Default Inspired by this pose

I never want anyone to take our figures as anything other than miniature football models. I would never think in a million years that what I do is on the level of McFarlane or realistic in any manner. Most will tell you these were never intended for miniature football and it makes little difference of those who do not use FF.Net products. That has always been the way we've looked at it but we can still be inspired by educating those that do use our products to reach beyond the limits. For me, I am very accessible, sometimes to my own detriment, but it is important to educate people about my product and the great possibilities that it presents.

I talk to customizers of our products all the time and you can hear the excitement in their voice of what they can do. While beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, most customizers that I talk to share a similar feeling about the figures of FF.Net.

We can take this "nothing figure" and turn it into something. We can take a figure that many mocked because it was not hard plastic and shape it into something that looks half-way decent. The Deion Sanders from McFarlane inspired me. Not because of the beauty of the art work but moreso because of the creativity it would take to take this "nothing figure" and make him resemble the great McFarlane figure!

I have been blessed to think way outside the box and apply that self-taught knowledge and create things for my pleasure. If it pleases others, that's okay but my biggest aim is to inspire others that even if it is not realistic, we can do some things to make it appealing. That's all I try to do with what I do.

Shown below is the actual Deion McFarlane pose and what I tried to do. I know it's not close but I was and is always inspired.

Default Do not water down your skillz!

Reggie,it is alot easier customizing 6 in and 12 in mcfarlanes than doing the lil guys.Believe me.I do both.go check out my custom Mac thread STT/ in the gallery. To get the detail the guys do on this site is amazing due to the size of what you are working with.with macs, alot of the detail is molded in.IMO your are one of the Best at making the lil guys come ALIVE for our viewing pleasure.Eye candy for MF enthusiests.Keep it up!--STT your figs also make life easier on the customizer also.IMO you set the bar for figure manufacturors.i would like to add that those team sets mac came out with would loose to you if you put a team set of 11 up beside them. You would have 11 men all different, even on the OL.They have guys that all look the same sorta like the Fab 5 figs. With all their resources,MAC fell way short on this one IMO--STT

Default Thanks STT

I know you are relatively new to the board and I definitely always appreciate the words of encouragement.

I am a Deion lover. Everyone agrees that he was soft on the physical play but when you see him in coverage, it is like art. I've seen him backpedal like this so many times.

Even though he played for 5 teams, he will definitely be a 1st ballot HOF'er! He was that good and ahead of his time.

The figures are so easy to make as people have come to understand the advantages of softer plastic. This by no means is rubber. It is plastic with a high elasticity.

Yesterday, a coach in the league dropped his players that he love so dearly. Unfortunately, it happened in my garage. No one knew. The next day, the figures were broken into little pieces.

I've done the same with the FF.Net figures and found them still intact. No problems. So, from a "cut-up" point of view, when you create custom poses, these figures give you an opportunity to create so much so fast.

They were criticized so severely early on but education was the key to helping people understand the advantages of their use.

Default No Need To be Physical

Dieon didn't have to be physical because his coverage skills were so superior. Dieon did what a corner is supposed to do first and fore most. That is keep a receiver from getting the ball. Everything after that is secondary.

Default I've got a Top 5 List but Deion...

was really special in his prime and I did not like Deion.

However, when I saw how he would get in great receivers jocks like no other, you gained a greater appreciation for his cover skills and closing speed. I remember he ran a 4.1 at the NFL combine which I think still stands as a record.

I loved these CBs in no particular order"

1. Deion Sanders
2. Darrell Green
3. Lester Hayes
4. Mike Haynes
5. Willie Brown
