Default Thanks...

..to all my brothers of the gridiron for your gracious comments. You all are too kind. Hoop...thanks for the inspiration. Chuck...you sure are in a hurry for a butt whippin'! We'll get together real soon bro. Gotta get these cats ready.

J~Swagz...you more than anybody on here know how tough it was for a brotha last year. Thanks for all your help and well wishes (and you know what I'm talking about) :o Geno....looks like you know a little history fella!

The rest of you guys have provided inspiration and/or insight to this great hobby of ours. It is with your lead that I humbly follow.

Now the Grambling saga continues...

Default D-E-F-E-N-S-E!!!

This ferocious front will have to be stout in a league with coaches known for power. Their reply...BRING IT ON!

The D-Line will be anchored by Buck Buchanan, Ernie Ladd, Mike St. Clair and Henry Davis to name a few...

Default The Linebacker Crew!

Getting on with my story...

... Finally, I got to work on the bases. It was time to complete the mathematical equation: Figure + Base = Athlete. I always enjoy this. I have to give Big Jim Davis a shout out here as we spent hours over his house tweaking bases for my team. I learned a lot from this man (newbies, don’t be fooled by his loud mouth and trash talk. This man is a teddy bear. Nicest guy you want to meet). I believe I got a fair bargain on the bases to help make my team a little more competitive. Kudos to Norbert as well. Your base will help to round out my team. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve spent a ton of hours tweaking my own bases. I think I’ve become a pretty fair tweaker. My bases will be at the skilled positions. Anyway, tweaking is always my favorite part.

The linebackers are led by John Mendenhall, Willie Davis, and Bennie Thompson

Default The Secondary...

...a.k.a - Ball Hawks!

This crew has stars galore. We've got Willie Brown, James Hunter, Everson Walls and Albert Lewis roving the defensive backfield.

Thumbs up Dude! Dude! Dude!

Before I did my Ohio State research, I did Grambling's. I am telling you, I could have saved you a LOT of research. Looking at those babies I am kicking myself. They are the absolute motha' of all mothas'. You have done the greatest job in reppin' one of the most storied traditionally black programs in history! I bow to your efforts! Obviously, with the wide array of talent you have amassed, I am even prouder that it won't be a cake walk for anyone!

Fantastic Job!, and welcome to the playing field!
