· I know it seems early, but if you want tickets to the NFL Hall of Fame game on August 9 and or NFL HOF Enshrinement ceremony on August 8, you must prepay by May 30, 2009. Please be aware, these are non-refundable tickets. http://www.miniaturefootball.org/site_pages.cfm?pageID=1391

· If you want free admittance to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, you must submit by email, all the names of the people you need passes for by May 30, 2009. There is a small expense to the MFCA for these passes so DO NOT request these unless you are sure you need them. (Because of ticket package changes, these are no longer front of the line, but they do get you into the Hall free.) Email your name list to: coach@miniaturefootball.org


· Start preparing your paint and custom entries for the live contest to be held at the MFCA Convention.


· Meal tickets for Friday Nights welcome dinner and the MFCA HOF and awards ceremony are now available and must be pre-purchased no later than July 24, 2009. We will have a fantastic buffet including adult beverages catered in by Mallons. Tickets are $10 and if we meet our overall expenses, MFCA Members will be refunded all or a portion of this amount at registration. http://www.miniaturefootball.org/site_pages.cfm?pageID=1391


· If you intend to stay at the Stearn Center, please make your reservations soon so that we can prepare ahead. $50 for the entire weekend for individuals or $75 for the entire weekend for families. Tents, campers and RV’s are welcome. You can erect pop up tents indoors as well. We have an incredible amount of room and full shower and locker room facilities as well as lockers to keep your valuables. Most hotels in Canton are already sold out or very high priced. You can’t beat this deal and the money you save can go towards new miniature football gear!

Please try to support the efforts we are making to put on this event! There is a lot of work and preparation going into this by many MFCA Members.

Encourage league members in your area who are attending the Convention and who are not MFCA members to become a member. It is your dues that allow us to put this event on and we hope that we can continue to do so, but if people intend to just ride the "free waves", the "ocean" may just dry up for the future.
