Default your thoughts on the draft

What did you think about the draft?
Did you like who your team picked?
Where did you watch the draft?

It was amazing to see Quinn fall like that. I have never seen a player taken out of the Green Room. I thought Miami reached a little on taking Ginn that high. I loved my 49ers picks. Willis will be starting from day 1! I watched it at my house. I was also on a live chat with about 150 other 49er crazies. I'm a member on a 49er fan website, and they had all the info coming in from cali!! It was great.
I'm surprised M. Bush, the RB from Louisville is still on the board. And why did the Eagles take a QB?

Well i think Cleveland has had the best draft so far with not only Quinn and Thomas but also landing Eric Wright in the second round. The 49ers did good in drafting Willis and Staley, but i don't know if moving up to get Staley was worth a 1st rounder next year. I am mad at the Packers for taking Harrell. The NFC North first round rookies this year are Calvin Johnson, Adrian Peterson, Greg Olsen and Justin Harrell? The Packers should have taken Greg Olsen. I am also looking forward to where players like Michael Bush and Troy Smith end up. Thats my 2 cents on the first day of the draft.

I hear the DE the Cowboys took is a really good player, but I don't get to watch much Big 10 football. Any of you know about Anthony Spencer (Purdue)?

I couldn't believe the Packers passed on Quinn. They must really believe in Rodgers?

Timmons is gonna be a monster in the Steelers defense! It's nice to see them draft somebody I've heard of.

Yeah, Eric Wright was a great steal for the Browns in the second round. I know Eric personally and he doesn't have a character issue, the whole incident at USC was a mistake that was blown out of proportion.

Well here is my turn to be Monday morning GM. I agree in that the Browns did a good job in the 1st Round. Actually I was curious to see if they would pick Thomas, Peterson, or Quinn. Thomas is a smart choice in that they are hurting on the OL. Then to make a deal in order to get the 22nd pick in the 1st round and get Quinn was a crafty move. I was totally shocked when the Dolphins took Ted Ginn Jr. and NOT Brady Quinn. One of my co-workers is a huge Dolphins fan and he was not pleased that they passed on Quinn either. The Dolphins new coach Cam Cameron was the Chargers offensive coordinator last year and did a good job with Philip Rivers. He could have done the same with Quinn. The Dolphins have Culpepper but his knee is still in question. Then the Dolphins are trying to trade for Trent Green who is 36 and coming off a concussion. That makes no sense to me.

The shock in the draft was not the draft but the trade. Al Davis is definitely SENILE. You trade Randy Moss to a team in your own conference and only get a 4th round pick next year. If nothing else they should have gotten one of the Pats two first round picks in the '08 draft. Either that or trade Moss to a team in the NFC. Al Davis just gave the Pats the '08 Lombardi Trophy.

If you ask me one GM is on the hot seat and it is not Matt Millen. The GM in San Diego in my opinion is on the hot seat. If the Chargers don't at least make it to the Super Bowl then he needs to be fired. As for Matt Millen he probably has a job for life. Go figure.
