great suggestion, whether or not its been mentioned before, yet giving credit to the originators. Nevertheless, we move on. The suggestion is great once again. when we, as adults start thinking outside the box-NFL, other professional teams, etc. we graduate into adulthood, independent thinking, elevation of oneself....The professional teams should be glad that we would even consider using their logos, etc. without the customers, what business entity would exist? Just a thought. I am going to start tonight working on my own team and if GOD willing, i make it to Canton, they will be seen there.

Default Feel the same way, Creasy(BTW, loved the movie)

The NFL and the NCAA ought to consider this free advertising. In fact, with the creativity and design in this "fantasy" game, they chould invest in this endeavor just as in things like the Madden game. As some have mentioned, this can be a great teaching tool for young prospective fans, much more effective than the X-box games. There is also another underlying attraction to this game. With the world going crazy and out of control, this game presents a great opportunity to "take control", as you can be as involved in practically every aspect of this game as you desire. From the tweaking of the bases to the customizing of the figures, from the designing of gameboards and to coaching, with all the other innovations that have raised the level of realism that make it more interesting as well as just plain fun.

Yo Creasy! My sentiments exactly.

Dre', I've been pondering a similar idea for a while and just recently more and more. So far, I have decided on calling my team the MFCA Silver Surfers. My plan, also, was to unveil them at the MFCA Convention this year. Naturally, they would compete in the MFCA Points Challenge. We'll see. For now, it's just a thought.

Default GLAD TO SEE SOME ARE INSPIRED.

COACHES,

Im happy some of you are inspired to venture out and create your own team. It will definetly feel alot more personal to you. Especiaally if you do what i have by using chilfdhood friends as the players on my team. We use to play football from sun up to sun down and seeing there names on the back of a figures jersey makes me feel as if we were all togetherplaying from sun up to sun down. Its a tribute to all of your friends from the past.

I like that adrian is calling his team the M.F.C.A. SILVER SURFERS, In fact, if you have coaches on this chatboard you really like, they could make your team. Imagine something like, BIG KEITH as your left guard. If you cant find a logo for any of your teams, you can do what UCLA, TULSA, TEXAS, TEXAS A & M. Just use the team name and have a decal made of that. Use script or any fancy lettering combo you can think of.

Like i said before, the hardest part of this, but the most fun is choosing the color patteren you want for your team. I spent hours in michaels holding up different paint bottles seeing what would look the best. once you think you have it, you feel there is a better color combo out there. So yo go back to michaels and do it all over again. This went on for 4 months.

You must develop the mindset that you are a billionaire and you just got the go ahead to create your own football team for that city. Once again, if you live in texas, DO NOT use Dallas, If you live in michigan, DO NOT use detroit. Use flynt, grand rapids or the area of your choice.

When you start from scratch, it's pretty cool to see the final product because it is what came from your mind and yours. Imagine you brought land somewhere and you sat down with an architect and told them exactly how you want the house built room after room. Once you move in,wouldn't you sense a level of accomplishment while going throughout because you know you designed it. The architect drew up the plans, the builders built it, BUT YOU DESIGNED IT !!!

THANX

Default WHY CANT YOU

COACHES,

Why cant you create a team THAT YOU WILL LOVE AND RESPECT like an NFL team that you love and respect. Whats the difference, because they are on T.V. CALL YOUR FAVORITE NFL TEAM and ask them can you come down and hang out with them while they practice(on a regular basis). Or can you sit on the bench or walk the sidelines with them during a playoff game. Dont get me wrong, i love the NFL more than anyone else. But when you have the means and desire to do something for you. Why not take advantage of it. A philosopher once said, "WHEN YOU CREATE ANYTHING FOR YOURSELF, MAKE IT EXTRA SPECIAL BECAUSE IT IS JUST FOR YOU". Sometimes you can get caught up in someones else's world, and forget your here also.

thanx
mantaraydre

ps/what i meant by means are the figures at your disposal and paint galore in michaels or other craft stores. DO NOT START ANYTHING UNTIL YOU ARE 1 TRILLION PERCENT SURE THIS IS IT, THIS IS MY CREATION. Like tony soprano said, "Once your in, aint no gettin out".

***I would go to the paint store when possible and mill around thinking of some possibilities. I OPEN EVERY PAINT BOTTLE IN THE STORE TO GET THE FULL EFFECT. You cant tell just by looking on the outside of the bottle. !!

There is the entire NHFL League which for saw this a while back and everybody plays with fantasy teams. This is why the Kansas City Super Sumos came into existence and since then my team, "Rare". Rare has no city and you should never say, "the" Rare. They are just...Rare.

I am intrigued with the idea of a fantasy team for each MFCA member as a registered entity under the MFCA (sort of like the NCAA is to the college teams). It is going to require a little research but this could be a fun thing to develop and do it for fun. This would not be done to take away from any already established league such as the NHFL, but it could possibly enhance what they already have and could even develop into something more.

Right now, it is just a light turned on in my brain and with some more thought could turn into a full chandalier.

Wolf,

The idea was to create a fantasy team by the MFCA members not to be associated for or with a league but for the MFCA. Our business members dont have a way to show their products all painted up and ready to play. In my opinion these fantasy teams can be displayed on our business members web-sites.

This sounds like a phone conversation as there seems to be a number of different thoughts on what this is.

Some of our business members are not known for their painting abilities. We currently only have 6 official business members and only 1 of them is known specifically for their painting.

Maybe, I am not getting what this about.

Default I SEE WHERE ADRIAN AND WOLF ARE GOING

wolf, I personally think this would be an incredible idea to have MFCA teams under the MFCA BANNER. This would also include THE NATIONAL HIGH VOLTAGE LEAGUE being they were first to showcase this idea. For instance, next to ecery members name would be there fantasy team and a little history on how that team came about. example

1)MFCA SILVER SURFERS (OWNER ADRIAN BAXTER) MEMBER #

2)MFCA MALIBU MANTARAY'S (OWNER ANDRE COGDELL) MEMBER #

3)MFCA KANSAS CITY SUPER SUMOS (OWNER LYNN SCHMIDT) PRESIDENT

4)MFCA NEW CASTLE HITMEN (OWNER, NEED NAME) MEMEBER #

5)MFCA MAHONINGTOWN MAULERS (OWNER, NEED NAME)MEMBER #

6) MFCA BLOODBOUGHT KINSMEN (OWNER, NEED NAME) MEMBER #

AND THE LIST GOES ON AND ON.
**** IF YOU WANT TO USE A CITY, USE A CITY. IF NOT JUST CALL IT THE MFCA -------.

**New teams being created should check the list to make sure a name they have in mind is not already taken.

This can be very promising on all ends. Everyone just has to sit down and create one team and we will have 200 plus.

*** I AM SORT OF CONFUSED ON THE BUSINESS ASPECT OF THIS. NEED A LITTLE MORE INFO .

*** MY THOUGHTS WERE EVERYONE CREATE THERE OWN TEAM.
Register it under the MFCA umbrella. From there, we can do all sorts of things leading up to the 2010 convention. BUT EVERYONE MUST BE INTERESTED IN CREATING THERE OWN TEAM.

***If you dont want to create a logo, you can go the alabama route and just stick a number on the sides of the helmet. JUST BE COLOR CREATIVE.

IN HORSE RACING, The owners can create any name for a horse they have as long as it is respectable and does not harm anyone olr any entity in anyway.

im in hope more and more coaches will embrace this idea.

THANX
