I was thinking to put them in a big zip lock bag to keep safe, is that a good idea

P.S. I tryed to use some from 2 years ago and they were kinda dryed out, they broke/split very easy.

I've heard the Ziplock method is a good idea,
get the wee manilla folders, zip them up, that sh'd keep them.

Norbert,
I put all me extras and full sheets in the Plastic Protectors used for Book reports and sports cards. Then to a 3 ring binder. I just used some Steelers decals I've had for 4 years, and they came off like brand new.

Default Decal Storage....

Norbert,
I use the zip-lock bag method myself.It works fine.For
a "full" sheet I use the "Gallon" sized bag. After I've cut
it ( the sheet) up,I use smaller plastic ( lock type) bags found at
WalMart or craft stores.These I store in a " quart" sized Zip-Lock
bag.You have an area on the ZipLock bags to label them.Comes
in very handy for finding decals .
You want to keep the decals from rubbing up against any rough
surfaces.A folder is fine, provided you cover the decal sheet with
"rice" paper or something non-abrasive.I've tried the sheet-protectors
also. They're OK but you can't seal them across the top like a
ZipLock bag.In my opinion the ZipLock bag is the way to go.Whatever
works for you bro.As I said,just my opinion(s).

SEMPER FI,

Default I use zip-lock bags, too

been using ziplock bags for a while, now and it works fine. I have been experimenting with spraying the decals first with a sealer, then put them away.

NoRbert, if your decals are splitting, try letting them sit in the water a little longer.

Default Platic sheet covers

Fellas,
You know the plastic sheet covers that you place notebook paper, documents or reports. it will keep the whole sheet flat and you can organize them into a notebook if you like. This is a Smitty idea. I'm sure he won't mind sharing.
