Default GENERAL QUESTION

I was reading a article in the TWEAK about Tom Johnson a Top Underrated Coach. I see he won several Championship but he wasn,t considered BREAK THOUGH COACH OF THE YEAR. in the tweak. Butch Carter is a great coach but I think TJ won several titles before Butch name start floating around. That was the same with Adrian also he won several titles before he was mention. How is this determine threw vote or associates. I remember when Adrian was notice by the titles he won . I don,t think TJ is underrated, just ask his teacher the Champ Big Keith. You,re underrated when you are reconize without winning several tournaments. That why in our League Charles Lane has won league titles and the Dixie but he feel until he can
when other major tournaments he rather be underrated ,now that being humble.

I'm not sure that I fully understand your question, but the MFCA doesn't vote for a "breakthrough coach of the year". The only award we vote on is done by the area reps and that is for "MFCA Coach of the Year" which last year was won by Adrian Baxter. This award is only given to MFCA Members. I noticed Charles record and would like to have considered him for the award this year but he in not a MFCA member.

Top Underated Coach was not an award but simply the title to an article on Coach Tom Johnson. There are many "top underrated" coaches and we would love to feature Butch in a future article as he really has been making a showing this year. I'd like to include Charles also, but we try to feature MFCA members when we can since they are the ones paying the dues.

It's just like the DSEFL wouldn't select someone as "DSEFL coach of the year" if they didn't play in the DSEFL.

This is one of those perks that comes from being a paid MFCA member.

The "Break Through Coach of the Year" award you are refering to was a Miggle Award and had nothing to do with the MFCA.

And Butch Carter is on my list to do an article on, perhaps even in the summer issue, along with several other coaches....
