Default EPOXY and Customs

For the newbie, or those who may think they're artistically challenged; if you don't want to invest the $$$ on Milliput, try PermaPoxy epoxy. I bought this on sale for $3 at Wal-Mart, in their Clearance aisle. I recommend ventilation and even rubber gloves, it's pretty intense stuff, but works really well. I added thigh pads, shoulder pads, a horseshoe collar and gloves to a standard Miggle LB figure, and after a few alterations with the lighter and saw, was able to create a decent, tough-looking LB. I'll get some photos up later.

This stuff takes 24-48 hrs to dry, after that it's hard as anything, and can be dremmeled, sanded, etc.

Give it a shot!

Default Epoxy LB

A little rough, sure, but with a little more work and a better understanding of the material...

A question for Milliput users, does that stuff stink? Are they basically the same compound?

Enjoy.

Not sure of that, I need to get these men on a scale, I fear it may push them over the limit, and that will nullify the method. We'll see...when I do know I will post the data!

If this technique won't work for play, it'll at least make for good shelf figures...

this is the same figure painted and decal'd.

I'm gonna weigh them (I made 2 more) Saturday afternoon and have the stats posted by Sunday morning.
