I don't even know what to say...you have some serious talent.

I do the same with the stand thing to paint on so you don't have to hold the figure. The difference is I cut the prongs off and sides off a double clip base and glued it to a wine bottle cork. This way you can just slide the player on and off by the platform...found the idea somewhere on this chat board.

This morning I finished the sculpting job, making the chin straps. I did it quite short, to make the helmet logo paint job more easy.


Once it will be dried (this evening), I'll sand the defects and molding strips, then I 'll make the undercoat with a grey primer paint spray can, so tommorow I'll be able to paint it.

it was not very difficult, but very exasperating : you have to make a very little "cord" of paste (about less than 1 millimeter widht), then transfer it on the tool, then transfer it on the figure and stick it without deform it too much...

Once it sticks, it's easy to reshape, but...

It's typically the type of operation for what I love Green stuff, try to do the same with milliput, and you'll become crazy very fast

I lost the box when I bought it, but the brand was "Duro" and the subtitle on the box was "kneadatite".

THis time i'm lucky since a LOT of modelling stuff is available from UK.

I know wargaming companies (games workshop, etc...) sells it too, but it's more expensive. The link I give you is more interesting.


Carefull with this product too for skin contact, because I remember I readed it's was toxic. So you have to wear gloves or at least wash often your hands carefully.


EDIT : I've got an update on green stuff supposed toxicity. Apparently, green stuff is not toxic, it maybe is a false rumor :

Thanks Dimitri. I read the product details and it states on the package that it is toxic. I may stick with Apoxie Sculpt.
