Default PAY AS YOU PLAY CONCEPT, INPUT PLEASE.

COACHES,

The french guy posted something in he league section in regards to leagues members pay as you play. Meaning, instead of a concrete league fee, you pay during each game day. This brings back memories of playing in basketball league and each person per team hasd to give $5 each game. This was used to pay the refs. YOU DID NOT PLAY IF YOU DID NOT GIVE IN YOUR $5 . Is this a good concept in miniature football leagues. WHAT ARE THE PRO'S AND CONS. yOU BASICALLY START THE BEGINING OF THE SEASON WITH A ZERO ACCOUNT. Each gameday or gameweek a coach can pay what ever he want's. Because we dont knoow if he just paid a mortgage or insurance payment whatever. It could be a dollar to $10.

Your account builds as the season moves on. YOU SHOULD HAVE A CERTAIN AMOUNT IN YOUR LEAGUE ACCOUNT BY A CERTAIN PERIOD. We will say by game 5 at this point. If a coaches account is not paid by playoff time, what penalty can he suffer in his playoff. Something more difficult to handle will be a coach who has no chance at the playoffs so may not show up for the later part of the season, or may not wish to pay anymore money because he is upset not making the playoffs. How do you handle him if his account is not up to date.

French guy, i would like to hear more on how this worked in the hobby arena.
Your basically paying vertime what you can. These ref's were notorious for not showing up sometimes so THEY WERE ALWAY'S PAID AT THE END OF EACH GAME. They took there money and hit the bars or liquor stores directly afterwards. BUT LOOKING AT THE WAY THE REFFED SOME GAMES I THINK THE HIT THE BARS AND LIQUOR STORES BEFORE THE GAME.

Both coaches held the collection of everyones $5 during the game and both paid the ref's at the same time. Another point, if a league can find some people who would like to just come the league games and ref (LIKE IN BASKETBALL) A SMALL COLLECTION FROM COACHES CAN WORK ALSO.(THEY MUST STUDY THE LEAGUE STYLE OF PLAY FIRST)

WHAT ARE THE PRO'S AND CONS OF THIS ?

THANX
