Default Amazing MF moments.

There is a thread on the Miggle chatboard like this, so I wanted to get some responses from here. I also bumped up a thread in the MF leagues section.

Have you ever had something happen in your MF games that seems like your ball carrier and blockers are real people, as they seem to do what you want to do? But also along with this it seems like the defensive secondary also has the ability to chase down runners from behind.

Here is my 2 favorite ones from when I first started playing MF, and they happened to both be video taped!

My first one happened the 2nd day I got my rose bowl. Desmond Howard was 9 yards deep in his endzone on a kickoff return, he took it out with USC players swarming at him, but yet Howard seemed to spin them out and juke them. He broke about 2 players ankles until it appeared that one USC guy was gonna hit him head on. Right before this was about to happen he hooked left and a blocker came from the left and sealed him off. Howard broke free and hooked back towards the endzone and he was in, a 109 yard kick return touchdown.

My second crazy thing was when I was playing Vikings vs. Packers, I think it was during half time of the super bowl. Ryan Grant was in the backfield and was lined up to run to the left. I flipped on the switch and I noticed that Brett Favre of the Packers was flipped backwards on his base. He went right back into Ryan Grant's "Stiff Arm." It caught ryan grant, but turned him around in to hook around the right end, but what was also crazy was that there was a perfect hole for him to run through that his line had made for him right there.
There hole was about the size of the width of a base, but yet Ryan Grant slipped right through without getting touched, then as Ryan Grant was running down the side lines, but out of no where a Vikings Defensive back got turned around and smoked Ryan Grant at about the 50. It is like RollerTaco's "Statue of Liberty" play on youtube right here:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o15JBcz8_QQ
Its just that the play was like a mirror.

When I still used to run the Browns, I was having a lot of problems in a game on kick coverage. It was a high-scoring game, as the ones I played back then tended to be, and I really needed a kick return stop to secure the win.

I got the crazy idea of putting my QB, Tim Couch, on coverage. Sure enough, the other coach's return man blasts through the other 10 defenders by midfield, and has only the somewhat velocity-challenged Couch to beat. And he's doing just that, taking a path about a base width away from Couch and at good speed.

Just as the returner appeared in the clear, Couch hit a rut, a dead spot, a surge ... something ... hopped up into the air, jumped to his right, and hit the returner with a flying elbow to save the TD and the game.

Default I remember it like it was yesterday

the craziest thing that has happened when I was playing was on the last play of the game...time had totally run out, and I had placed the ball marker for the pass in the endzone in a spot that I thought would be good for my receiver, then I noticed that there was a defender who was slightly closer and on a speedier base than my receiver. My thought was "dang this is going to be an interception for sure!" The team had a huge drive to get to the endzone with time running out and my stupid pass placement would lose them the game.

what happened next was amazing! My receiver was sitting pretty close to the motor and when the board kicked on the receiver TOOK FLIGHT! he dove for the ball marker like his little plastic life depended on it! His hands touched the ball marker JUST before the defender got there.

I was in shock!

My team won... but I felt like i didn't have much to do with it because they made the extra effort to make up for my inept pass placement.
