EF Thinkers: When one abandones the reservation that they must win every game...
What (+) or (-) development manifest from the thinking, coaching, strategizing, and total concept of the game
*note we all win and lose but some competitors sometime feel that they are entitled to a win and when they lose various results can unfold....whats your wisdom on this way of viewing not just EF but any competitive activity Athletes view? Coaches view? Fans view?

Not a ******** thing to do with EF but I think I can hit the athlete side of it. Honesty is the more important thing you can have..
You have to be honest with yourself to truly understand what happened in the game for you to have won or lost. For example as a goaltender it is easy for me to say 'well that went through a screen' or 'that one got tipped' etc etc. The biggest improvements in my game happened when I started to truly analyze every aspect of how a goal went in or how a save was made, then understand what I was doing on that play, and then figure out what I can do the next time to put myself in a better position for success. Me at the National Team Camp and a City Championship (I'd be the goalie ) |

For me....It depends on how the game was won...
If the opposing coach can play a gentleman's game and I lose then no problem...a loss is a loss.... But when I lose a game based on deception, bickering, whinning, and straight up cheating.....then that is usually when I just walk away and give the opposing coach the game.....because for me I enjoy the competition as any athlete would but there comes a point where you must ask yourself...what am I actually doing here? Why do I continue to expose myself to this? When the fun of the game is gone then really why are we doing this? I enjoy more the comraderie and fellowshipping and some instances the teaching and learning.....that is what I enjoy at this stage in the Hobby. Honestly Karim, Some coaches feel as though they should not lose to a specific coach and will kick and scratch and scream until they are victorious but what they do not realize is that they will one day be all alone because noone will want to play them and have to go thru the nonsense that sometimes goes on......
