Default SOUNDS GREAT !!!!!

FRENCH GUY/GENO

This idea sounds awesome. MAGNETIC PLATORM WITH A PIN INSIDE THE FOOTBALL. This would be a serious revolution/evolution in the kicking game.

The football would adhere to the platform with ease without any additional fumbling and angling. Also, the football wil not fall off the platform at anytime until it is kicked.

You guys have the fires burning now. This is what i like in the game and on the chatboard. THINKERS, REG, 5-13, FRENCH GUY, GENO, WOLF. Those looking for the next plateau. Something bigger and better and user friendly. WE LIVE IN A WORLD OF CUSTOMIZERS AND INVENTORS. Some in this hobby helps us keep up with the joneses !!!!!!!

HOW DO WE MAKE THESE MAGNETIC PLATFORMS ????????

Default let me think about it

I've got a lot of stuff in my workshop, including strong neodyn magnets, magnetic soft sheets, tools, etc...

I'll try to make a prototype this week, after work, and we'll see if I can be a crafter too

real catching sounds difficult for me. You need magnetized balls, meaning more weight, meaning knocking off players often (and possibly detroy them).

But I want to make a try with rubber balls, for kicking only (with a tee golf stuff).

We'll see, tommorow I don't work, so I have 2 days for miniature football. Today the priority is to fix the board, then ,we'll see

For "static" football, as Guttmann says, it's easier to use the ready made FF.net skills players (for example) or add a little ball made of you own (see my Niners center, it's what I did).
there are leather balls out that could do the same.....
