Default last fix

I forgot to fix the feet of that fig. Since I heavily modify his stance, the feet were not placed good anymore (quite like a duck...) so I resculpted them, now the athlete is ready for contact

since the green stuff is a very sticky paste, it will help the fig to stay glued on the plateform.

Default Ready to paint

Hi,

The figures have been primer coated today. I like that stage, when you can see the smooth overall aspect of the complete figure.

Tommorow, I'll paint the skin tones and arms details, then the figs will take the plane to USA

I cutted it drilling a new counterweight for my board. I made a beginner mistake, to work quicker I didn't fixed the brass plate on my working table, so when I drilled it, it started to spin really fast and took a bit of my thumb

Don't try this at home

More seriously, at least wear protection glasses...I never work without them, and it gives a awsome pro worker look too I cutted the brass counterweight with my dremel cutting disk...and the disk exploded Hopefully the bits went everywhere but not on my face...but imagine if they went into my eyes...you can fix a tooth or a thumb...you can't fix eyes

Default Painting completed

Hi,
I finished the painting of the figs (I only had the arms, chinstrap and face to do).

Here's some night pics of it. Like the real athletes, I give them some old school 70's beard

I'm happy with their face, quite realistic for the pics I found.

I also varnished them, but sometimes the mat varnish I use goes quite satin Since my friend will certainly varnish the whole figure, it's not a problem.

Next project : A Steelers team, and some Niners option players.

I believe I'll offer customizing services soon too

Tomorrow, I'll make daylight pics and speak about my personal customizing service concept.

Dimitri
