Smile For all you guys who want a Miggle Convention next year!

Please take the time to go to their message board and let Mike and Delayne Landsman know of the fun time you had. They don't come here and be quite honest all the post here doesn't let them know how much the convention means to us.

The MFCA sight is all encompassing and covers everything. However, people that run a business like the Landsmans do check their results within their own domain. You can simply paste your post from here, that is, if you want to encourage Miggle to carry on this truly classic event. Honestly, it is better than any tournament combined and kicks off the year.

Man, the food was off the chain, and free! Who else feeds you the first night
The hotel? Free breakfast, 99 dollars a night with two double beds, and a sofa sleeper!? Thats at least 3 people at 33 bucks a night if it's tight, and it is!

Did I mention free drinks from 5:30 to 7:30?

Morever, even though they can't allow the stuff we post on this site you must understand that they are sole proprieters and not a non profit organizations. The least we could do is let them know personally how great a time we had!

If you missed this convention I am telling you now it won't be topped! There were over 50 rooms booked, many with families or friend groups. The place was jumping both in rooms and on the main floor. The tournament was ran to precision by Dave Haydel and Mike Guttman! The competition was fierce, yet respectable. People were without borders, you know, we are from here and you are from there did not exist. We were ONE! I must thank this miniature site for contributing to that!

Still, from a tournament standpoint everything else is light years behind. At least let the Landsmans know that their efforts are appreciated on their board! Thanks for your time.

Just went and posted there and I could not agree with you more Ken.
Great to see you again and glad you enjoyed yourself with maybe one exception.
See you next year.

Default Did it, done it...

Yes Ken, very well said and I have put my post out on the Miggle site. If there had not been a convention this year, I would not have had the opportunity to attend and meet all the great folks, so therefore, stand very appreciative and look forward to next year.

Thanks for all you do for the hobby, you are a very kind, articulate person from my experience meeting you.

Sincerely,

Joe Ram

Kenny, it was a blast. I really enjoyed hanging out with you talking EF and other stuff. As always I made a bunch of new friends and enjoyed the comradarie. Also learned quite a bit about tweaking and EF strategy from one of the true masters of the game. The "Doom Tweak" is off the chain baby!!!

Kicking it with you and the fellas was awesome. To you, my man Don a/k/a Detroit Child, Norb, John Stamm, Michigan Joe, Mike Turner, Larry, Big Jim, NoDave, Joe Ram, Geno and all the rest of the fellas... it was truly a pleasure. I don't think I ever went to bed before 3AM I was having so much fun. Only bad part was that it eventually had to end.

I would highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't attended.
