Need Info on Old Board...
OK fella's, here's one for those who have extensive knowledge of the great hobby we all love.
Back around 1975 I bought a board as kid, it was about the size of the old Tudor 500, but is was fiberboard, not metal and it was not electric. There was a little metal hand crank under each end zone that both players turned. This would spin a set of ratcheting gears against a metal tab under the board that would in turn cause the field to vibrate, thus moving the players. It seems to me the players were one color, a white team and a blue team, they were made of soft plastic and were all one piece, the player and the base molded as one. The box had Bob Griese's picture and signature on it, I specifically remember that, I can see it in my mind to this day. Anyone know of this set and who would have made it? I want to try and track one down, but need to remember/learn more about it. Thanks, The Shabby one |
