Default I did not know...

Jim went 9-12 in the air?????

That's pretty stellar passing! Personally, I think that's too high but sometimes it will equal out. "The Box" is a 50-50 thing so next week, he may go 3-12. It's just the shake.

I think Jim could win with a 20 carry back (and possibly win a Heisman). I've seen guys win with runners averaging 20 carries in this style of play. I think people get too impatient because they feel they need to match the other team.

Jim is a deliberate coach, which plays into his strength. But "The Ole' Ball Coach" get's mesmerized by the sound of the Box. He always tells me, "It is what it is" when he's doing good by it but 20 pics last year, and even a crucial one the other day, tells me that sometimes, it's like gambling, you've got to know when to fold 'em.

When he threw that pick, was he winning? I know this is all hindsight but Penn State has the ability to "pound the rock" but he has to be creative in knowing when to pound it too.
