All hobbies have some degree of limits. With the model railroad hobby they had so many different scales of trains that they had to define them into O scale, S scale, N scale, HO scale. It would look silly to have a N scale car on HO scale wheels. They did this to give their hobby validity and realism. The hobby we have has the same problem. Many different scales of size, weight, fields. Maybe the day is near that we have to formulate our hobby into scales. Unless you own a field that is 60 some inches long you are not playing to scale based on the average size of men in production and for many that is just fine.

I think that if we ever want to put this issue to rest with some degree of agreement that we need a committee to formulate the groundrules of scale. Then, you may join a league that plays 6.2 scale or 5.5 scale and we can all co-exist happily.
