Default Open Run Pics from Shabby

Here are some pics from this weekend's Open Run.

Thanks to Eric and Dave for hosting yet another great event, this was the third Open Run and they keep getting better.

The ususal cast of suspects was there as well as Weirdwolf, Mantaray Dre and National.

Wolf and I finally had it out... our epic phone calls, private messages and behind the scene battles over the forum was finally settled in person. We had a blast, he clicked right in with us, the laughing and ball breaking started within 30 minutes of his arrival. He is an excellent coach, taking to the Los Angeles Rules rather quickly and using a team he was not familiar with is not an easy task.

Mantaray Dre, what can I say...this guy is TOPS! He made the trip from New York to Los Angeles, hung out all three days, played his games and was a pleasure to be around. I can see the passion for the hobby in him after reading his posts for years and finally meeting him, this is a man who truly loves miniature football.

National, again, we had fun even though there was no Wi-Fi, he came out played his games, READ and KNEW the rules too. You can't help but have fun when National is in the house.

CONGRATULATIONS TO MIKE TURNER THIS YEARS 2010 ERIC AND DAVE'S OPEN RUN CHAMPION.

Awards were also given out on Saturday, Celo got his 2010 CBSMF Pac10 Champion trophy, that's two years and running.

Mike Turner was awarded the trophy for his excellent coaching and victorious rise to top to win the West Coast Bowl Championship.

Eric Robinson was awarded a trophy for the CBSMF 2010 Defensive Player of the Year, Deacon Jones (who was robbed of this honor last year).

Weirdwolf also presented National the championship ring for the MFCAL.

It was a long weekend with a lot to do and some grueling fooball games, little sleep has been had over the last three days and with aching backs, feet and knees, we all realize we are getting older and need to enjoy these events and opportunities while they present themselves, tomorrow is not promised to any of us, so fellowship with your leaguemates and enjoy their company while you are able.
