Open Run 20 minute running clocks

The prelims at the open run featured 20 minute running clocks per half. No kickoffs just start at the 20. This was a great scenario to play a game. The games went fast and were smooth. it was a nice lenght of time to play an entire game. IN LEAGUE PLAY i think many should take a look at this. You can play 5 games in 1 day whick can tranlate into a 15 to 16 game season. There was a 5 minute break during half time. You did not feel drained after several games. The clock stops when the half reaches 1 minute. This would be nice for regular season games. yes, it is a full game. save the long marasthon games for the playoffs and superbowl. If you have road warriors in your league coming to town, that weekend should transition into the 20 minute running clock due to there needing to get in games.

The west coast had a laptop clock with an announcer letting you know how much time was left in a half. 9 MINUTES LEFT is what you heard at the time.
All games started the exact same time so they all ended the exact same time. Must find out what that laptop clock connectionn was. This is much better than 4 plays from the 25 yard line like an overtime set up to get in a game. no one seemed drained after several games. You just have to work your majic during that 40 minutes. its plenty of time to do some things.
I dont see why we must have 2 1/2 hour marathons all the time.
Alot was learned just going out west. They have a nice way of doing things.
That is the most fun i ever had a tourney. next year will be crazy, more coaches are coming.
**Also loved their punt system, just shake the box for the distance and play begins at that distance, NO RETURNS. You can get either a booming kick or a shank. Take it where you take it. They really make reg's style fun out there.
they are passionate out their. my qb ran 60 plus for a touchdown on nebraska and you should have seen how upset celo's godson was at his defense. he won the game but was upset like a parcels at his team for missing a tackle. HE IS GOING TO BE GREAT !!! His nebraska team looks nice.Big huge balanced players. he has larry walker customs. Walker makes some incredible custom poses. You must see them.
