Football use, what the diff does it make?

I stopped using the larger footballs because on short passes, I got tired of knocking my receivers over with it when they caught it.

If you were using the pass targets, then I don't know why there'd be any reason to not use it other than preference.

I came up throwing the old Miggle foam ball, and still do.

In the BMEFA days, I don't ever recall us having a rule about what footballs could or could not bve used.
