2011 WMLMF season......

The 2011 WMLMF season is almost ready to begin. This year promises to be even bigger, badder and better than last year. There was supposed to be 16 teams this season, but 3 teams weren’t ready in time. The Pacific Sharks, my 4.0g team, is being de-tuned to fit in with the rest of the more or less 3.3g teams in the league. This will bump the number of teams to 14. They will be sorted into 2 divisions, the North and the Un-North.

New this year and a first for miniature football, the WMLMF will also be a Fantasy Football League. 10 coaches have signed up. They are:

These coaches will be playing for a chance to win a custom field cover of their choice, valued around $75.

Who will be the 2011 Gumbo Bowl champions? Can the Third Reich repeat as champions? Will the Sasquatch bounce back and reclaim their crown? Can the Bozos get over the hump to win it all? Will the Mennonites get medieval on everybody’s buttocks? Or will one of the 4 new teams surprise everyone and take the crown?

And who will win the Fantasy Football contest? Will it be sweat Kenny Allen? Or perhaps Derrick? Can Ed Morgan Roo the world? Will Phil be the one to walk softly and carry the big Styx? Maybe Bob will clear the Slate? Will Mozeek win a cover for those 100% hand painted Cards of his? Will Dave be the high Roller and take it all? How Weird would it be for Wolf to win? Will Shane jump through all the right Hoops to win?
Or will Mike let the Dogs out? Only time will tell.
