DFW Looking to Create College Summer League
If any of you would be interested, the DFW is looking to create an NCAA Miniature Football League. Choose from more than 150 college teams and play up to an 6 to 10-game schedule under the Shootout Rule System.
The interest level here in the DFW League is extremely high when it comes to electric football and to ensure that others who may had an interest in playing in the professional league still would have a chance to compete from a collegiate level. This would be classified under the collegiate Road Warrior program. Coaches would come to Texas and play a 6 game schedule. A national championship poll would be created and various bowl games would be created. All bowl games would be played in miniature stadiums such as the Rose Bowl, the Orange Bowl (Pro Player), Sugar Bowl (Super Dome) and the Fiesta Bowl (Cardinals Stadium). We would try to make it where there would be 8 bowl games. Some other stadiums such as Heinz, Lincoln Financial, Notre Dame Stadium and other stadiums would also host howl games. If this is something that may be of interest to you, let me know here or send me an email to: rrutledge@footballfigures.com. You can probably expect right away about 20-25 coaches from the DFW League who will take part but we are open to accepting many more. One of the great things about what you will find about the coaches here in the DFW League is a willingness to help guys who may not be well-versed in the Shootout Rule system. Our intent is for you to be able to compete for national championships and it is our duty to make sure you have every opportunity. Reginald |
