Default The Detroit Lions...

... Wow, this team is truely amazing. Year after year, they somehow continually find a way to snatch defeat out of the mouth of victory. They bring ineptness to a whole new level. To play so well for a few games and get their fans dreaming of playoffs, only to bungle their way to what seems like never ending seasons of mediocracy and squash all hopes borders on being criminal. True, you could say that New Orleans fans know what it's like, suffering through decades of bad teams. But hey, Saints fans are used to bad teams. They know the Saints will be bad, the Saints know they'll be bad, there's really no surprise there. But the Lions, now there's a team with a rich tradition of underacheiving. How many teams can boast of having a HOF running back like Barry Sanders and have nothing to show for it? How many teams have an offensive coordinator who managed another team to score over 500 points a year for 3 straight years and yet his offense with the Lions is just that, offensive? Yes, there are other bad teams out there, but none do it with the style or panache of the Lions. Yep, there are loosers, and there are loosers, and then there's the Lions.
