Default Weights

I am all for progress but we have to be careful not to discourage the ones that we are trying to attract. I know that I am frustrated at times as I try to build a team to compete in leagues that I am not competitive. You can't use older figures because the newer ones are bigger and heavier. Don't even get me started on bases. We are asking a lot of coaches if they have to continue to build new teams all of the time in order to compete any time that there is a move to increase size or weight. I know that there are many dedicated coaches who have the time, energy, money and talent to change their teams anytime that they want. There are many more coaches who more than likely don't get involved because if you don't keep up you could easily fall behind and get left behind.

I understand that guys with companies that sell figures want to encourage change. I think that change can be good and add new energy to the hobby.

If it ain't broke don't fix it. There are great leagues that are happy with what they are doing.
