good one Norbert..... But you make a case for just about any of the great ones crossing over to play in an different era. I still feel tha tJim Brown would still be very effective playing today, you forget he was still fast. The idea of Barry playing in those days would have meant that he would have been running from tradition offensive sets... would have loved to see that.
When the Lions made it to the NFC Title game against the Redskins, They refused to open up the offense and toss the ball around. They perfered to just see what Barry could do. The next year, they did very little to improve the team to get past the Redskins (desending) and Cowboys (assending) that cost Barry playing any longer than He wanted to .........
