Congratulations To Anthony Hough" 2008 Buzzball World Champion-Weighted Division
Although I know there is a great chance, he will not see this post, I would like to take this opportunity to publicly CONGRATULATE my man, my ace, my best friend in the whole wide world since the age of TEN years old…….ANTHONY ”SNIVELY” HOUGH.
As quiet as it is kept, my man ANTHONY HOUGH, won the Custom/Weighted Buzzball World Championship yesterday. Also, Congrads to Mike Carr for getting to the big dance. The speed of your secondary still continues to amaze me. Love the sportsmanship you both exhibited. Just speed the game up next time. As for ANTHONY’S quest to the title, he first started out by knocking me off. Then, he squeaked past Kevin Smith, Jr. (last year’s Buzzball Champion – Kids Division). His final game was against the veteran of the weighted multi-stop style of play, Michael Carr. I am definitely not a play-by-play guy, so all I will just tell you that this game had a nice flow to it that started around 11:30pm or so and ended around 4am or so. I am so proud of the strides that Anthony and Kevin, Sr. have made over the past 5 years and 1.5 years, respectively. Keep up the good work fellows. Although I work with Anthony Hough, Kevin Smith, Sr. and Will Travers the most, I also spend some time and need to spend more time with Michael Carr and Kevin Boddie. Remember fellows, my door is always open. Guys, only if I could explain in words how proud I am of the strides you have made recently and the potential I see in all of you. Believe it or not, seeing you guys realize your potential is more of a pleasurable experience than me actually winning a championship. Also, Congratulations to Spike (Mr. Diamond's son) for winning the kid's division title and to Nigel (not sure of the spelling) for a tightly contested battle. This game actually went down to the last and final play of the game. Keep up the good work fellows. Keep it up. Work! Work! Work! -Adrian- |
