The Hobby Experience
My coworker and I were talking about how our respective hobby interest exists within our lives as adults. By the way, he is a serious hunter. Last year, he showed me a picture of an Elk that he stalked for 3 days before killing it. It was huge. He was hiding behind it when the picture was taken.
He asked do I ever get tired of playing electric football. I told him, “No, I do not”. That opened a discussion about the hobby. His main concern was how the players move on the table. I talked to him about base tweaking and how essential it is to this hobby. It is the difference between an exciting or so-so hobby experience. I also told him that it takes work to get a team to play effectively. Along with that, I made it clear that unlike my childhood, I cannot devote day after day to playing the game. We both agreed that our respective hobbies hunting and electric football must coexist with everyday adult life. Maurice The Electric Coach
