MPFL 2007: Open Season f/ MD, DC, and VA Coaches

Applications for the new 2007 MPFL season are starting to file in. Currently Commissioner Anthony D. Burgess has awarded franchises to (7) coaches. The Carolina Panthers, Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, and Dallas Cowboys are all slated for competition in May. The NFC East division is the first to have full representation.

There are also a half-dozen memberships currently pending for returning coaches from the 2006 season as well as new (expansion) franchises. As of 2/21/07, talks of MPFL Franchises for the Indianapolis Colts, Oakland Raiders, New Orleans Saints, Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots are in the works.

The season is expected to run for 2-3 months in total with games played on a weekly basis.

The cost of an MPFL franchise is $40.00 and instructions on how to contact us are listed on our “join” page. Future announcements will be made on this website as new franchises are awarded, and new applications received.
