The guys at the Open Run...
I just wanted to let the country know about the guys at the Open Run just in case you don't know them...
Shabby J - this guy has a loving spirit about him. He's just learning the game but he's an extreme pleasure to be around. Shabby J is one of the coolest guys in the hobby. Cleon Tate - What can I say? Don't let him score on ya. He's going to bark off the loudest roar you've ever heard. This guy gets amped up for big games. Love this guys character and he has one of the brightest minds around. Very articulate! Robert Runnels - I don't know much about this guy. I spent very little time with him but the time that I did spend with him he drained me for a lot of information. I'm sure he's in the lab now working on some stuff. Good luck to you my friend. Ajah Patterson - Grab your camouflage cause this guys plays military style. He's a rough and ruggard ex military man who shows his military nature on and off the field. I love his enthusiasm but he can scare ya. Jeff Eby - Man! What can I say about this guy. On the field...He has one of the most suffocating defenses around. He has a way to go offensively but he has excellent defensive schemes. Off the field...One of the most wonderful people you're ever gonna meet. You just know he has children and grand kids whom can't wait for him to come home. He has that kind of personality. He'll give you all he's got. Rick Garrison - Extremely hospitable. My only regret was not having the oppotunity to take his wife up on some of that great cooking. I'll make sure to make time for that next time. Totally enjoyed meeting this guy and his son. Ray Amaro - A true student of the game. He wanted to learn everything. He asked questions, he studied plays, he watched game after game, he even took picture of formations we were ling up in. This guys was one of those student that make you mad in school because he's the teachers pet. Very good dude! I loved hanging around him. Mike Turner - Not enough to say about this man. One of the greatest eflers of all time. He'll greatest downfall also shows his greatness. This man has yet to win a championship in a major tournament but he's finished 2nd in about 5 of them and he goes through some of the toughest coaches in the country to get there. I've been on the field with a lot of coaches in my time and not very many compare on the field to mike Turner. He's truly a tremendous coach. Eric & Dave - Why does everyone feel like they have to mention these two guys together? They are one of the greatest tandoms in history. You talk about Shaq & Kobe, Batman & Robin, Jordan & Pippen, Tom & Jerry, Shaggy & Scoobie...Eric & Dave ranks up there with the best of them. Two great guys who truly know how to run a tournment. I had a blast hangin out with them. They showed great love, enthusiasm and passion for the game. I will support everything that these guys do. and finally... Reginald Rutledge - .................Whateva!
