Christmas grab bag
This is an idea i had, off the top of my dome, that i would like all to just keep in mind. what if we had a Christmas grab bag with MFCA members? i know these wild ideas are familiar on the board at times, so i am just asking that you think on it during the holidays and maybe we try it next year.
it could go something like this >everyone would post their interest in participating. >myself, and another could come up with some random way to decide who matches with who. >we send the addresses of your match to you, and ofcourse, one wouldnt know who the other is. >each person would send their match, something from their MF world. paint an 11 man team, send 3 custom figures, a set of face masks, etc... pick something that you specialize in within the hobby and send your secret santa dude, that something special. a set of detailed plays from your playbook or even secret tips on how to stop Adrian Baxter, anything. >we trust eachother to have it ready and sent off so that it arrives for the holidays. How does this sound???????? The down side i know not all of us celebrate Christmas, so we could easily just make it a holiday grab bag or something. i know that some may participate in the idea, but not actually follow through. that would be uncool, but realistic in 1 or 2 cases. i know that this is an idea that is harder to pull off than it sounds, but can still work. think about it this year as the holidays flow through. imagine getting something in the mail from one of yours peers, and the excitement of wanting to know what it could be. imagine the excitement of preparing something for one of your peers, and knowing you are going to make another happy. this would be so cool if it could happen. Think on it, and lets re-visit this next year.
