This is the time of year, Christmas time, which conjures up memories of this great hobby for many folks. We seem to get a lot of traffic on the message board as those memories and new gifts create a curiosity that this great thing called the internet can help satiate.

Since today is Christmas Eve, many folks have started opening gifts, and hopefully, you received a gift that made you think of this great hobby……..and now you have found us!

I would like to welcome all you new guys to one of the greatest hobbies ever!

There are so many facets to this wonderful hobby:
from team building,
painting figures,
base tweaking,
customizing figures,
solitaire,
competitive leagues and tournaments,
and collecting the older stuff.

To help YOU get the most of what WE have to offer, ……………there is a “SEARCH” function located on the top of the page, third choice from the RIGHT. We ask that before posting a question, you use the search function to help you get your answers quickly and efficiently.

There are some great people here, and if you get involved, you will make some great new friends. Some of these guys might even become one your newest best buds. I’m not joking.

Also, ……….please remember there is a learning curve to becoming proficient playing this game. My personal point of view is to become competitive, and get the most enjoyment from playing this game, …………….is learn how to tweak bases, and learn your team that you have fielded. Base tweaking is a “skill” that requires practice and you will lose some bases along the way, but it’s the journey toward your destination that is what it’s all about.

So, once again, Welcome to one of the greatest hobbies around, and remember to use the search function, …………and have fun!
