Laterals ??
First:
1.) Let me ask, is it OK to ask questions in the tailgate forum or should I be posting somewhere else? 2.) Let me apologize upfront as I will be asking a lot of "dumb" questions, no, I mean alot as I am trying to gain as much knowledge as I can. Thanks in advance. Ok, here is one: Speaking mostly solitaire here, however, I would really be curious how you manage this in league play as well. How do you "manage" laterals? As an example: QB, under center, "I" formation or split backs...you designate the upback as ball carrier, however, tail back looks like he would break it and he is behind the upback and LOS...can you say, OK, he's got it now by lateral and then as he gets down the field and is about to go out of bounds or is almost tackled he "laterals" back to another player who is behind him (within one base length)...k, now he's got it...I think you know where I'm going. Obviously, you don't see this often in the NFL or other leagues for that matter... My first thought is to limit each team to one lateral per game, "gimme" or otherwise... I'd like to get your opinions on this... Thanks, Joe |
