ONE AND TWO TIGHT END SET PLAY'S
ANT/JIMBO
TE END PLAY QUESH SCENARIO 1 Qb is in a shotgun in a 2 TE set. You let the defensive coach know to release your TE' S. You have the TE'S bases on backwards during the snap so they both end up behind the line of scrim. You angle the TE on the left outward to block. You angle the TE on the right going in the same direction as the TE on the left. During the next stop the TE is going to cross in behind the center and in front of the qb. HOW DOES THE QB EXECUTE A SHOVEL PASS TO THE TE. I know the base length rules. Mind you, the TE has to cross in front of the qb first before you can do anything. IM JUST TRYING TO FIGURE OUT AT WHAT POINT DOES THE OFFENSE HAVE TO LET THE DEFENSE KNOW IT WAS A SHOVEL PASS. (DO YOU JUST PLACE A BALL ON HIS BASE AND SAY NOTHING ? Do you need the 3yard stick ? just curious on how this shakes out thanx mantaraydre
