Default Conferences that are Set: the CBSMF

The PAC 10 headed by Eric Robinson has brought us into a new era of miniature football with Dave Campbell's Michigan Wolverines starting off 3-0-0 and Rob Lytle gaining an early lead in the Heisman balloting averaging 150 yards per game.

The Black College Allstars are 2-1-0 and are looking to challenge the Wolverines out west. Other teams such as Boise State should be a strong contender as they played the #1-ranked Longhorns in the Eric and Dave's Open Run Championship to a struggle.

The Big 12 is headed by Geno Hendricks and the teams in the Big 12 are headed by Kansas State and Brigham Young. Flynt Hendricks will be one of the teams to beat in the Big 12. This young star coach is one of the sharpest minds in the game. The only thing that may derail this champion in waiting is himself. K-State should be the team to beat up in the Big 12 and they along with the other members are setting their site on Rivalry Weekend against the SWC.

The Big 10 will probably be the biggest conference sporting up to 16 teams. Commissioner Hardmon says you can probably put all these teams names in a hat and pick out 4 and they could be the teams that advance to the CBSMF National Championship in Canton. Some of the big dogs include Sag-Nasty coached by Greg Hardmon, Ohio State Buckeyes coached by DFW great, JEasymoney Davis, Norbert Revels's Darmouth Big Green, and surprise force Joe Allore and his Michigan Wolverines. The Big 10 is stacked with great coaches and passion. Look for the Big 10 to have at least 6 teams in the CBSMF playoffs.

The Big East is gonna be a Beast! With BAM Champion Brian Healey leading the charge, look for the Big East to be well-represented in the Ohio. Healey is one of the best coaches in the land and by indication of his 12-0 run through the BAM, this coach and his Georgia Bulldogs could be playing for a national championship. Joe Greco's Michigan Wolverines should be another team to look out for. Greco is one of the best students of the game and by kick-off, he should be well versed in the college ruleset as he is running quality assurance in that area. Another coach from the Big East who demands respects is Morgan Scott and his Syracuse Orangemen. The Orangemen coach is one of the best minds in the game and now, it is translating to the field. Syracuse could be the beast in the Big East!

The ACC will hold its jamboree this weekend. Commissioner Kevin Boddie has 10 coaches coming into the ACC. The headliners include Kelvin Lomax. Coach Lomax recently resigned from Howard to take on a new gig. He will be the favorite coming out of the ACC. However, Alabama under the tutelage of Darrian Ross, Dru Spark's Florida Gators, and Kevin Boddie's Catholic Cardinals should be among the best of the ACC. Look for a great rivalry weekend with the Big East.

The SEC will be coming in with a slant on the rule set. This conference offers some of the best there is. With Bryan Nutt leading the charge, the Tennessee Vols of the SEC should rule. However, teams like NC State, South Carolina,. and Virginia Tech will offer up strong opposition to the VOLS. Look for this to be one of the most competitive conferences in the country.

The Independents will be led by Biglock's Rutgers Scarlet Knight. Steelerdude out in California will be at Canton after playing some of the coaches in the PAC 10. The Independents are in a situation where they will only have 2 representatives because they are spread across American and must get games in wherever they can.

The SWC, which features 4 of the best teams in the land will come in with the most experience. #1-Texas Longhorns lead the pack which will have an early fight against the likes of Tennessee, Oklahoma, and TCU. TCU, a newcomer to the conference, is led by Don Hudson, one of the greatest passing coaches in the land. The coach, Robert Jackson, has been fired from USC, Miami, UCLA, and one other school sources say and now has taken over another school's team without the CBSMF ever kicking off. Until Jackson can get stability in his program, we can rate him simply INCOMPLETE! Look for Texas Tech, a team no one is talking about, to play huge in the SWC mix. Big dates include Oklahoma v. Tennessee, TCU v. Texas, Texas Tech v. Oklahoma, and Big 12-SWC Rivalry Weekend.

The Conferences are set! It's almost time!
