I thought the original idea on this was to encourage MFCA members to register a team (fantasy) that can be used in leagues and tournaments. A sort of a snub to the NFL and NCAA. As long as the figures make the requirements we should be able to use that team. The idea of a ranking or point system is good and I am all for it, but for those of us that dont have a league or go to tournaments will get kinda left out. I hope I am not offending anyone. Just my opinions.

I wasn't thinking about the fantasy idea when I developed this proposal. You can still create a fantasy team and use it, but the fantasy idea is unconnected to this one from my standpoint.

You are only left out of this if you don't play anyone. If you have guys you can play that are MFCA members, then you are in. It is entirely up to you if you play the 8 games and if you are willing or able to make a trip here or there to get some games in. You don't have to be a part of a league but you are going to have to compete against someone. If finishing at the top of the MFCA League isn't important than you can still rack up some points and see where you stand in the grand scheme of things. I personally am sure to be somewhere around 200th out of 199 coaches but the next year maybe I'll beat Ravenna Al and move up to 199th. That's a win for me!
