A Time to Heal Wounds: Canton, Ohio
If my wife knew I was on hear talking, you probably would be a little PO'ed with me for in her eyes, it's difficult for her to see the reason I would when my name was thrown around insinuating things. However, I am sometimes ruled by my own "hunch" and not by emotions.
I try to live a clean life, treat my family with goodness, and do good by my fellow man. But I think we as men and some of the women who frequent this site, we owe it to ourselves and the legacy of our great game to move forward in a positive manner. Guys like Jimbo, who I still consider my friend and brother, I hope he does come to Canton! Sometimes, we need to move past pride and humble ourselves to continue to be brothers in the game. I look forward to hopefully seeing Jimbo and playing some Arena ball with him and just hanging out with him. I know Jimbo is a good dude and family man. That alone makes him someone who I want to hang around. Guys like Ken Allen, who I hear giving his kids the business on the telephone, only to tell them he love them, makes me happy to be coming there just to meet him. Ken and I were never friends but now, we are boys! Amazing and strange how the game heals wounds. We've got to go to Canton with one thing in mind, that is to have a lot of fun and heal those wounds. Guys are mad about "passion". Everyone has passion and show it in their own way but we've got to not hold on to that anger or channel it in a manner that will be good for the game. I hope to see everyone in Canton. Whether you like me or hate me, just come share a few minutes with me and let's crack some plastic and get past the pettiness that is in all of mankind. Let's get it crackin'! Just my opinion, Reg |
