EPOXY and Customs
For the newbie, or those who may think they're artistically challenged; if you don't want to invest the $$$ on Milliput, try PermaPoxy epoxy. I bought this on sale for $3 at Wal-Mart, in their Clearance aisle. I recommend ventilation and even rubber gloves, it's pretty intense stuff, but works really well. I added thigh pads, shoulder pads, a horseshoe collar and gloves to a standard Miggle LB figure, and after a few alterations with the lighter and saw, was able to create a decent, tough-looking LB. I'll get some photos up later.
This stuff takes 24-48 hrs to dry, after that it's hard as anything, and can be dremmeled, sanded, etc. Give it a shot! Last edited by TVsCHACHI : 05-17-2007 at 12:56 PM. |
