Default 1971 KC Chiefs

Many, including Lamar Hunt himself, consider this the greatest Chiefs team, even better than The Super Bowl team. Unfortunately, they lost in double overtime on Christmas night 1971 in the longest NFL game ever played, which was the championship against the Dolphins. These are the Ohio State figures which were made by Dewayne Jennings. The players are a bit larger than I am used to painting, but the added detail was fun. I did extend the sleeves using acrylic gel to make them look more like that era, and had to make some adjustments on the helmets to make the facemasks fit better. The numbers were made by Beenutt, and the bases are made by 5-13 studios. Thanks, Michael
