I WAS BROWSING THRU THE THREADS
On the soletaire section and i see why coaches love it so much.
IT'S YOUR RULES YOUR WAY. I think some coaches refuse to join any leagues because they enjoy what they are doing so much. one thing i noticed. Coaches prefer the sticks a great deal playing soletaire My question is is there a time limit you put on yourself using the sticks. / Can you identify a receiver, place down the sticks and footballs all within 15 to 20 seconds. 5 sec's to identify a receiver 5 sec's to find and place down the right stick and football 5 sec's for simutaneous pivots towards the ball for both offense and defense. CUT THE BOARD ON. ***WHEN THE BOARD STOPS YOU MUST ASSERT YOURSDELF AS THE QB AND THINK. 1)BOARD JUST STOPPED- SOMEONE IS COMING TO KNOCK YOUR BLOCK OFF. **I REALLY WANTED TO SAY INDENTIFY A RECEIVER WITHIN 2 TO 3 SEC'S ***FIND A PLACE TO PLANT THE STICK DOWN AND PLANT IT IN 4 TO 5 SECS ** OFFENSE PIVOTS RECEIVER TOWARDS THE BALL AND THE DEFENSE ( only pivots the nearest 2 db's to the receiver). This would eliminate pivoting all un engaged players and limit it to either a CB AND SAFETY, CB AND LINEBACKER, LINEBACKER AND SAFETY, LINEBACKER AND LINEMAN. ***YOU HEAR OFTEN "ONCE HE BEATS THE DB HE HAS ONLY 1 MAN TO BEAT "FOR A BIG PLAY. I honestly feel using sticks can work in any system and can be accomplished within 15 sec's. ***I just dont see how using sticks slows down any game. If you light a fire under the person using the sticks ah la 15 seconds. It teaches them to indentify a receiver fast like a pro or college qb must do. Find a place where they want the ball superfast like a qb would. (ie, know where the safties are before placing the stick down. Pivot the receiver for his final leg of his route to catch the ball. I would like to hear an honest assessment from coaches regarding this scenario. ***PLEASE NOTE, THIS IS NOT A PASSING STICKS VS THE TTQB THREAD. EVERYONE SHOULD USE WHAT IS COMFORTABLE TO THEM. ***Im asking, if both can be used within a 15 second to 20 second time frame. Should it matter which is used by a coach. this is being posted becasue im reading different post from many threads and coaches are saying they are using the sticks on a continuous basis Maybe a better question is, Does using the sticks change the course or outcome of any game if completed in the rules passing time frame ?. REMEMBER, THIS IS A FRIENDLY POST JUST TO HEAR THE THOUGHTS OF SOME COACHES. *** IF ANY NON SENSE COMES FROM THIS I WILL ASK THE MODERATORS TO TAKE THE POST DOWN RIGHT AWAY. All im am lookig for is your honest and diplomatic assessment of this. THANX IN ADVANCE MANTARAYDRE
