Default Size of passing sticks on big boards ?

Hi,

I'm actually reading many threads on the forum about passing simulation, and passing sticks. I understand the concept, now, and I think I'll use it to play and make demos around me : An easy way to play without "physical" skills (for people with disabilities, for example) and a good way -IMHO- to bring also some wargaming people (represents a lot of players here in France) confortable with measuring tools to EF too.

So...I learned that I needed 3 ball placement sticks and a measuring stick :

one measuring stick of 40 yards
one placement stick of 6 yards
one placement stick of 12 yards
one placement stick of 18 yards

I'm the owner of a "big board" of 42" x22". So, if I'm logical, I should measure the yards on my board, and make the sticks with that measures for reference.

But I readed that the "standard measures" (40, 6, 12, 18yards) were designed for 620 boards. And of course, yards on a 620 board are not the sames the ones on my 42" board...

...So I'm wondering if this "standard measures" will fit my big board, or if big board owners use smaller or bigger sticks to make the game more realistic.

Thank you for the help

Dimitri
