Default college board?

Hi Jimbo,

Nice work! I have an Original Electric football board from Miggle; one of the small ones. I looks like a perfect board for an arena field. I was wondering what the deminsions were on yours. I'm not ready to get one yet, but I was curious how much it would cost to make an arena field cover for that Miggle board; 26.3 x 15.5 inches. I thought I would make it an "Arena College Football" board. What do you think?

Brian

Default looks great!

I love the matching platforms on your paint jobs. I think that style should be a standard for the arena teams! NO GREEN PLATFORMS...

Default GOOD IDEA!

I is true that great minds think alike. Volcanohead, there are no green teams in the AFL as of last season, but maybe in AF2 or the CIFL. I'll have to look. Good point though!

Regardless of the color of your platforms....

The Two-Foot War is the fastest game out there!!! Can't wait for some more action.

MM: your motor flies out Monday. Thanks.

Default bump

Hi,

I bump this topic because my next MF project is to go for arena football.

I plan to make my own field cover, but I've got a question about AF :

What metal board should I choose ? I think the model 500 is a good choice, or should I prefer a "rose bowl-type" or even a 620 ?

is there any video of miniature arena football somewhere ?

I plan to play with fab5 standard figures (the "small" ones), btw

thanks

I'm no expert, but the 500 works well for me as far as size and speed goes. A Super Bowl board would certainly open up the game even furthur for the offense, though. As far as a 620 goes, I would have to see what that would look like. Space definitely wouldn't be a problem!

thank you for the answer. I defenitly have to find that recent topic on MF scale...

the 500 board seems to be a good choice of board : cheap (and cheaper to send to france), powerfull, quiet, and small. But of course if a superbowl board (same as miggle rosebowl I guess ?) or even a 620 is more in scale, we'll see...

the goal is to build a solitaire league of arena football with fab5 figures (cheaper and faster to paint than 22 minimum athletes pro football teams), and of course to continue my french miniature football crusade with a new fast paced ruleset

the last thing is to have a smaller metal board for my own training and tweaking, of course, because my big 42" fiberboard gameboard is quite loud and...big
