Default WOLF, MEMBERSHIP IS MOVING.

WOLF,

I don't no what's happening but new members are joining like it's a cult.
There was a time when it would be a serious lull in between signings. Now, everytime you turn around a new person has joined. This is great for the MFCA. Im holding off on my guess how many members we will have by august first number to further study this joining pattern. THIS IS GREAT FOR THE MFCA. MAY MAY SEE 500 MEMS BY 2011.

I wonder what the member number average is in other clubs.

1)country clubs
2)racoon club (honeymooners)

What other organizations and associations are out there and what is there member average ?

What is a nice but realistic number the mfca should shoot for ?

1) 500

2)1000

3)5000

or higher.

can something like the mfca ever become over crowded. I don't think so but just curious.

Thanx
mantaraydre

Default Nobody speaks japanese ?

I'm serious, Japan 's got a big american sports culture. Their football league is strong. And a lot of japanese are interested in miniature stuff. Too bad their language is so complex and unreadable.

I believe Germany, Holland, France, UK and Italy can be good source for newcomers too. And all the other countries playing US football.

The only issue in that : not all football fans are interested in modelling and playing. An the opposite way is the same : not all modelling and tabletop gamers (wargames, etc...) are not interested in sport.

Default Membership.....

Dre,
I hear ya bro ! To be quite honest,I picked on the lower
side for new members in the contest.I just figured on
the economic conditions keeping it slow, but I'm plesantly
suprised that it's picking-up.My pick will soon be blown
out of the water, but this is one time I don't mind a bit
being wrong....
You asked about a realistic number/goal for MFCA Membership;
500 is a good start.It may take awhile but it's achievable.After
that,who knows.........The "sky-box" is the limit........LOL
