Default THE MPFL ON THE HORIZON

MPFL COACHES,

Please begin you training camps to have yourself ready for the 2010 season. The season will be at a level that is extremely high due to it's new coaches. Please ensure that your playbooks are where you want them to be.
I dont have to tell you the strength of your teamis not an issue in this league.
YOUR PLAYBOOK IS YOUR BREAD AND BUTTER !!! If you enter the league with 3 plays your going to get destroyed. Due to the league playikng stoppages, your plays can be read and shut down rather quickly. As long as your read and react mindset is up to par. You will do fine. This is far different than any other of todays styles. If you have college or nfl games on disk, please go back and watch the game again to see how they play it. Go back and re-read a previous tweak that show cased the MPFL and lock that into your system.

1) have varied routes for your receivers, with the stops youcan do many things in regard to route running. learn the receiver and te route tree so you can direct your players to specific areas.

This style plays exactly like the NFL and it will be fun to watch. Here you can really have that star linebacker reading and reacting due to him being on a magnet waiting to see how the play develops.

You can have that DEON SANDERS shut down cb as he runs with the receiver. He may stay with the receiver so close each play that an offensive coach may not throw to his area,. In traditional ef receivers slide off bases then run down field. Here, that db will be your escort every step of the way. You as the qb/coach, are you daring enough to throw that pass with corners like that.

IN YOU HAVE NOT SIGNED UP FOR THE MPFL AS OF 2/23/2010. PLEASE PM ME FOR FURTHER LEAGUE INFORMATION. The commissioner left me a message yesterday and he is ready to roll.

IT'S GOING TO BE A GREAT SEASON !!!!!!!!!!!!

Tonight, i will be running my louis oliver and patrick surtain through various db drills.

IF YOU THROW THE BALL IN HIS DIRECTION

YOU BETTER BE " SUR-TAIN"

Default STT, THE PRODUCTS

STT,

These items are very simple to make. I posted this before, here is a simplified way to make things.

sticks:

If you do not want to cut wood. just go to starbucks and get a few green straws. They are already the color of a field so you will not have to paint anything. Use the chart to cut to size

1)1 1/2 inches = 3 yard stick

2) 2 2/2 inches = 5 yard stick.

Continue until you get a 7, 9 and 12 stick also.

QB PASSING BAR

I would use the 5 yard stick(straw) and glue magnet underneath so the qb cannot move it when he touches it.

FOOTBALLS.

1)GETS SOME EXPOXY CLAY

2) paint brush tubes or pushpins. (I use push pins.)

30miggle magnets. .50 each on the miggle site.

Take some clay and shape into a football then stick it on the tube or pin.
Let it harden then put a drop of crazy glue on it.

IF USING THE TUBE, glue the tube to the magnet

if using the pushpin, the magnets have little holes in them. Put a little clay in the holes then stick the pin in the hole of the magnet and let harden.

paint the football and that's preety much it.

**yOU CAN ALSO USE COFFEE STIRERS INSTEAD OF A PUSHPIN. Just do the same with the stirer like you would the pushpin.

Make sure you cut the stirer short enough so the the football will be chest high to the receiver.

THE TIMER BOX

You can make as long or short as you want.. I would use either the 9 or 12 yard stick for the timed runner to run along. use a 3 or 5 yard stick to close off both ends. THERE IS YOUR TIMER BOX.

If you are ready to cut wood instead. Get balsam wood from a craft store and use the same measurement mentioned aboue . wood is very easy to cut.
